Ok…here’s an old, old, old card. Pic taken months ago, so apologise for the plastic cover on the card. I havent sat at my craft desk for such a long time that it feels really wierd. I dont have anything new to show to you guys hence this old card. Bear with me for a few more days.
I will be going out of town for four days. As soon as I return we have four days of the first month ceremonies for my FIL, so I will be very busy with that. Probably will get back to crafting only in Nov. Cant wait till then coz I have a few ideas running around in this head of mine and I want to find some time to work on the ideas.
The ‘friend’ sticker is American Crafts and the flourish stamp is by Rhonna Farrer for Autumn Leaves. I made around five cards using this same sketch and cardstock but with different stickers. All of them were used by my husband for his co-workers. This works well as a masculine card even with the flourish and the ribbon. It helps that the ribbon does not have a bow on it.
PS: Looking at the card now I feel I should have matted the sticker, you can kinda see the shape of the ribbon underneath. Well, cant do anything about it anymore…its already found a home.
Hello everyone! I’m back to blogging. Trying to find a new normal as we go about our daily business at home. Blogginng will be a bit slow too coz we had to ditch our old laptop and I lost my pictures and I’m still in the process of trying to figure out the new laptop. Here’s one pic that survived the crash as it was saved in a draft post.
Cosmo Cricket paper pack. This line was perfect for little boys. Unfortunately I am all out of the papers.
Feels good to be back folks! See y’all around.
My father-in-law passed away on Friday, 1st Oct. He was 83 yrs old. I will be spending my time with my family for the rest of this month.
A very simple mini album in brown and white, with the cute hedgehog for embellishment along with some regular and scallop circles. The album has ten pages in all. Here are a few of the inside pages…….
The cute little hedgehogs are called Hawthorne and Bramble. Cute, arent they? Once I get the pics from the client, the inside pages will look oh so much better with more matting and more embellies and journaling etc etc.
As you can see, my computer is fine now. But my father-in-law is not. He has been ill from 11th of Sept. Right now we are caring for him at home with the help of a nurse. A one week stay at the hospital resulted in some improvement but not much. So my posts will be at best sporadic. I will visit my fav blogs but will not have time to leave comments. I debated whether to post this news on my blog. After much deliberation I decided to post it to let you know about my absence. I dont have much else to say at the moment.
