Another set of three

This one uses only bits and pieces of scrap lying around my table. Only cardstock….no patterned paper at all. OMG…what happened to me. The only thing common between the cards and the tags is that luscious ribbon, vellum sentiments and the colour of ink used for the  stamping. Incidently the stamps- the tall leaf used in the first and third cards; and the flourish used on the tag in the centre card- are my own designs (that  I got made into stamps at a local printer’s shop here in Chennai). The smaller square stamp used the centre card is by Stampin Up.

Heart warming – set

One more set of three cards and two tags for your viewing pleasure.

I’ve tried to make each set a little different from each other. The green dotted paper has been used in another set too but was  paired with different patterned papers. Chipboard flowers are from Itsy Bitsy. Buttons are from Michaels in the US. Flower and sentiment stamps are Hero Arts.

I have to say that as I get the hang of this blog thing it is getting a little easier.  I am no pro by any means, but I am at least enjoying my time here. And that is a surprise coz I hadnt expected that. Thanks to all who come and visit and special thanks to those who take the time to comment. I value your time spent here.

Thank YOU!!!

This is the last one in the series………for now. I’m in the process of making more of these sets as these were very popular. I’m making the embellies for that right now.  Also got about 10 mini albums bound yesterday. I finally found a guy who does the metal spiral binding. I never really liked the plastic spiral or plastic comb binding. The mini albums look so much more professional with the metal in it. I will post pics soon.

Edit: 4 new posts today. Please scroll down to see the other ones.

I love the colours in this set of three cards and two gift tags. Believe it or not I’ve had this paper sitting in my stash for 12 years……YUP……so not kidding…….Chipboard pink flowers are from Itsy Bitsy, smaller pink flowers and dotted ribbon are from a local craft store. The flower stamp is an old one from Inkadinkado.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving comments. It’s always nice to be acknowledged by people who appreciate your work. I value your comments. Tejal…..I worked on getting the pics bigger. Does it look better now? I’m trying to change the other pics to look bigger too. Thanks for the tip.

Another set of three cards and two tags packaged together as a gift. Neutral colour scheme so it would work well for a boy or a girl.  Flowers are by MSE (My Sentiments Exactly—I love their clear stamps). They’ve been stamped in black on thick card stock and cut out. Brown and beige ribbon by DCWV (Die cuts with a view); green ribbon, base card stock and patterned paper was bought at Ananda Stores.

Friendship set

Three coordinating cards and two tags, packaged as a set. Great gift idea. I’ve given these sets as gifts to many people and they’ve been very well received.

I went cuttlebug crazy on this one.  The dark pink handmade paper was available locally and is just absolutely beautiful. It has a lovely texture and adds a lot of punch to the cards. The buttons are from my stash. The pink flowers are from Itsy Bitsy.
